Shredding Event
The Southern Lancaster Chamber is offering a shredding event to the community!
When: Friday, April 22nd from 1-4pm
Where: GR Mitchell True Value Hardware, 14 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street, PA
*Minimum donation $5 per container* – all shredding proceeds help SLCCC fund scholarships for Lampeter-Strasburg, Solanco, and Penn Manor graduating seniors
What is a shredding event?
Businesses, organizations and residents can bring sensitive/confidential, paper-based materials for shredding – courtesy of Tri-State Shredding. Newspapers, magazines and paper where privacy is not an issue will NOT be taken. Items with metal or plastic are prohibited (staples are OK)
All shredded material will be recycled
Bulk Shredding (In excess of 10 containers) should be dropped off by 12:30, but none will be taken after 3:00pm
Prior notification of bulk shredding is appreciated
You are welcome to wait and see your materials shredded, but bulk shredding will be done during lulls in activity or at close of event – we can’t guarantee a specific time. All shredding will be completed before truck leaves the property.
