Woerth It Hollow’s mission is to provide therapeutic benefits in a farm setting for veterans and individuals with disabilities by teaching farming skills and the rehabilitation of equines and other animals, thus allowing all involved to gain stable ground.
Woerth It Hollow, Inc. was founded in January 2017 by Sara Woerth. It started with an idea in 2015, and by 2017 Woerth It Hollow, Inc. officially became a 501(c)3 and began operations. Woerth It Hollow’s focus is on the rehabilitation, training and subsequent rehoming of horses. In addition, utilizing the current residents, we provide instruction in equine farming, horsemanship, and overall animal care to veterans and individuals with disabilities. We provide safe and adequate facilities, equipment, and training for participants in order to promote farming and equine activity. We sponsor, host, and/or participate in events and activities that promote equine-assisted therapy, disabled farming, and more.
