Greek key, ikat, paisley, chevron, suzani, toile… What do all these have in common? Each one is a fabric motif and the very reason I love what I do!
Welcome to my addiction: Demonstrating how fabric and style can work together to achieve inspiration in the home.
Shortly after stepping back from a barber-styling career to be home with my boys, I found myself falling back into my long-established passion for sewing (which started at age five) and designing. I began crafting purses and tote bags and starting offering clothing alterations for close family and friends. It was only after I was introduced to a designer with a window treatment workroom did I know which direction my business should take. In 2009, DBH Designs was born.
After attending Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, Custom Home Furnishings classes, and numerous hands-on seminars for all types of window coverings, slipcovers, re-upholstery, I was able to work with some of the best experts in the industry.
My goal is to partner with homeowners and interior designers who want a cohesive, completed look for their spaces. My process is simple, straightforward, and contains no surprises, lag time, or down time.
I look forward to selecting the perfect fabric and styling of your window treatments, soft furnishings or re-upholstery to compliment both your home and your personality.
